Following in the footsteps of sadly discontinued The Bolster, its aim is to serve the community with updates from around the parish.
If you'd like to contribute any local news or announcements (be that a sports club, community group, or personal story), please get in touch.
At some point in the future we hope to create a printed version of the news for those not online but this will depend on the success of the online version.
The following is from the June mailing list newsletter. If you’d like to receive posts like this direct to your inbox, sign up to the mailing list.
Hello 👋🏻!
Welcome to the first Love St Agnes monthly round up! By subscribing to our mailing list, you’ll be receiving this email every month. If you scroll down you’ll find the latest events, news and businesses listed on the site. But first a quick word from me (Ben – the creator of Love St Agnes).
Hi,
Just a quick word from me to say a massive thanks for signing up to the mailing list. I officially launched the site a few weeks ago now and there’s been a great response so far.
I’ve written an article about why I built the site that you can read here but in general I’m really hoping that together we can grow it into becoming a useful and active place – showcasing all the fantastic stuff we’ve got going on in our parish. I’m going to be doing lots more promotion over the coming weeks but it will really live or die on community engagement so if you like what we’re doing – please get involved: List an event, add your club, or just spread the word! It all helps. And if you have any suggestions on how I can improve the site – please let me know.
Thanks!
Ben Jackson – [email protected]
